The quality of the box is second to none, being made of Marine Grade Timber which will be suitable for our intended outdoor use and the quality of the dovetail joints which add strength to the box is amazing. Little things, like the rubber covering both the inside and outside of the box just help add up to make this a super product (i.e. additional protection if setting on wet ground / comfort for the dog). I'm fussy with an eye for detail and whoever made this box took the same care and attention to detail that I would have had I had the skill, equipment and materials to make it.

These balance bars are just what I needed for my dogs physio programme after injury. As a preventative, I'm now carrying out strength and conditioning exercises with all my dogs and this is a brilliant addition to our kit. The non slip on these makes it safe and easy for my dogs to use, and for precision and ease of teaching, they even fit inside the position box too!

Emma has been working with us for a little while with our boy Jay, Working line Golden Retriever, currently aged 18 months.

From the initial call consultation to the training now being in progress, we simply can’t find fault. We opted to go for the training done for you package, as given we got Jay when he was a little older at 18 months, we felt him having extra training done 121 with Emma would be the most effective way for him and us.

What’s clear, is not only is Emma extraordinarily talented at what she does, but that the care, passion and pure joy she showcases throughout consultations, interaction or training, instantly makes you feel comfortable and confident that Anglian Dog Works is absolutely the right choice for training.

During our consultation we discussed the challenges or perhaps concerns we had, particularly given we got him at 1 1/2 years old, and those were that he’s older, he has perhaps from the past not had lots of training, and certainly hadn’t been following any sort of gun dog training, and for us what was important is that we have Jay the most fulfilling quality of life that is catered to his breed, thus approaching Emma for support.

Post first session, we could instantly see development around, but most importantly we had a much better idea on the development areas given the advice Emma gave, particularly around retrieve, steadiness, and also the volume he looks at us for guidance whether loose lead walking, or in general. We thought the feedback and the progress was fabulous then, but then came the follow up videos, the in depth analysis, homework training for us to work on, and the endless WhatsApp’s of us working together virtually in between sessions.

We are now progressing even further along the initial gun dog grading for Retrievers, and we have got a fabulous recall, a much improved steadiness, a lot more interaction and drive to learn, much improved loose lead walking, and we are not even half way through! This will absolutely be the start of a long term partnership with us, Jay and Anglian Dog Works!

We and Jay, honestly could not recommend Emma enough, if your looking for someone that takes pride, is passionate, takes the extra step, thinks outside the box and genuinely wants to work in partnership with boy you and your dog, to achieve goals that are driven by you as the owner, I can assure you, look no further, and book a call with Emma!!

Our Jack Russell Terrier, Olive, absolutely loves ADW dog agility classes! It’s the perfect way to keep her brain engaged and put all our training commands into real-life practice. She comes home happily tired after every session, which is a big win for such an energetic breed.

Very pleased with my placeboard. The board is personalised with the names of my two chocolate labradors. It has already been so useful for our beginners gun dog training.

I have a nervous cockapoo, who loves working, and I was keen to get her started with agility. Emma was initially amazing over WhatsApp, answering all my questions and showing a genuine passion for dog training. When we went for the first session, as expected my dog was very nervous, but Emma was so patient and clearly incredibly experienced with working with anxious dogs. By the end of the 1 to 1 we’d clearly made progress, and all had fun. Couldn’t recommend more, really looking forward to future sessions!
