Agility for Everyone: Personalised 121 Agility Training for All Dogs
Turn Your Dog’s Energy into Focused Fun with Tailored Agility Training
Want to Join an Agility Class But Not Sure if It’s the Right Fit?
Are you eager to get started with agility training, but a block of group sessions doesn't suit your schedule? Maybe your dog's behaviour makes you hesitant to join a group, or you want to build confidence before transitioning to an agility class? Whether you have a young puppy, an older dog, or a high-energy working breed, our 121 Agility Classes provide the perfect way to begin.
What Happens When Dogs Don’t Have a Positive Outlet?
High-drive dogs without the right focus can become restless, bored, and even destructive. Many working breeds are known for their energy and intelligence, and without an appropriate outlet, they may exhibit challenging behaviours—chasing wildlife, chewing furniture, or constant barking. These are natural instincts going unmet. The right agility training can transform these behaviours, giving your dog a positive outlet that channels their energy productively.
121 Agility Training: Tailored for You and Your Dog
If you're looking for a way to get started with agility on your own schedule, or you want to prepare your dog for group settings, our 121 Agility Classes are the ideal solution. These sessions cover the same content as our Dog Agility Foundation Course, but in a private, one-on-one setting. This means you and your dog can progress at a pace that suits you both.
Our training is designed to be flexible, making it perfect for owners with busy schedules or those whose dogs aren’t quite ready for a group environment. This option also supports reactive or anxious dogs who might struggle in a group class. The skills developed here will prepare you and your dog to confidently move on to group settings like our Agility Club, if that's your goal.
What to Expect from Our 121 Agility Training
-
Discovery Call: In our initial discovery call, we’ll discuss your goals, assess your dog’s needs, and identify any challenges you're currently facing. From this, we’ll create a personalised training plan that incorporates agility foundations alongside the themes most relevant for your dog.
-
4-Session Agility Course: Over the next four weeks, your dog will be introduced to agility basics, including jumps, tunnels, turns, and handling moves. Each week builds on the last, ensuring your dog masters foundational skills.
-
Run a Full Course: By the end of the month, you and your dog will have all the skills needed to navigate a full agility course together—an achievement we’ll celebrate in the fourth class!
What Makes My Training Approach Different?
I’m a member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) with distinction, bringing years of hands-on experience training high-drive and working breeds. I’ve trained and competed with my own agility dogs, and now, I guide owners like you through the same journey—turning a dog’s energy into fun and structured training. I specialise in making training accessible and fun.
Agility isn't just about competition; it's about building a stronger bond, giving your dog a positive outlet, and enjoying the benefits of a happy and engaged pet. All breeds are welcome, as long as your dog is vaccinated and has basic obedience like sitting and recalling off-lead or on a long line.
Client Success Stories

"If you’re looking for a trainer who is understanding, caring, and really ‘gets it,’ Emma at Anglian Dog Works is the person you need. Emma has been amazing with me and my Border Collie, Bella. Many trainers don’t truly understand Border Collies, but Emma does. What’s more, I’m a wheelchair user, and Emma has been incredibly patient and adaptable, ensuring that I can fully participate in agility with Bella. I only wish I had found her sooner. I don’t trust easily when it comes to my dog, but I would trust Emma to look after Bella any day, knowing she would provide the best care, love, and attention."

"Emma has been brilliant with us and our (occasionally over-enthusiastic!) 10-month-old Doberman. So far, we've attended a taster session and several private training sessions, learning about tunnels, crossovers, and navigating a course. For our last session, the whole family joined, and Emma was fantastic at engaging all of us. We've also completed Emma's free online recall course, which has noticeably improved Otto’s recall—though he still has his teenage moments! I'm now signed up for the foundation course and excited to continue working with our Dobie alongside other dogs."
