    Success Stories

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Started with a couple of 1-2-1 sessions with our one year old collie to help with her attention to us and impulse control... By the end of the course we’d gone from a dog that ran off to play with others at every opportunity to a dog that had found love and enthusiasm for the sport, that actually listened to us, could run a course and not leg it at the end! ... We’ve seen massive improvements at agility club and at home in her behaviour and energy levels... It’s the best thing we’ve done since getting our collie puppy a year ago!"

    FAQ:

Why be supported by an individually tailored 121 instead of a course?

When you enrol on traditional courses you are committing to a fixed block of classes and will be limited by a generalised programme; in contrast 121s fit around you, your schedule, and individual requirements.

I often meet owners, particularly those with working breeds, who previously struggled to succeed in large indoor groups conducted for a long duration of time or failed to re-enact the lessons outdoors when faced with real-world distractions.

All our training is conducted outdoors, in realistic environments, and broken down into manageable, bite-size steps, with plenty to practise in between.

With my coaching, you have a trainer in your pocket to have any questions answered, hassle-free via ongoing message support.

    How often are training sessions?

Typically, sessions are scheduled once per week, giving you time to practice and reinforce skills. However, I’m happy to adjust the frequency based on your needs and availability.

What can I expect from a private training program?

    • Weekly, in-person sessions that target your specific goals
    • A personalised training plan and video notes after each session
    • Video feedback and support on your progress between sessions
    • WhatsApp support for questions and guidance as needed

Confidence building for my dog and myself

Hi, My 🐶 (7 yrs) is a Coton de Tulear, a small gundog breed and we live in Cambridge. Our challenges were that he is an anxious dog, fabulous with the people he knows, not good around people he didn't know. We couldn't trust him to Recall, especially around big dogs. I felt like I had no structure. I didn't know how to lead him, so that he felt safe and looked to me for guidance or how to guide him towards appropriate behaviour. I am not keen on just finding anyone, I always prefer a recommendation. Emma came highly recommended by someone I know, who was doing some gundog training.

We have had 5 1-1's so far and the difference has been amazing. I thought my dog's behaviour was 'ingrained' and he was a bit too old to learn. Not the case at all. We have both learned so much. My dog loves the training and responds really. I have been happily surprised. I was dreading Christmas with people around, but it was commented on that my dog seemed much calmer and content with new people around. He is just as playful as ever and seems to enjoy the training - possibly as he now gets more treats than before😉 but it is a sort of snowball effect. The more we practice, the more we get from it and the better the outcome!

Emma's training would work for any dog, not just gundogs. She is professional, knows her stuff and has a great way of explaining something so that I can take it in😊 We are not overloaded, we go away and keep practising at home and it has made a world of difference.

Emma sends me short videos of our training so that I can remind myself what to do. She sends explanations and if I have any questions I just send her a message and she always responds pretty swiftly.

Training with Emma has made such a positive impact on both my dog and myself and it is also thoroughly enjoyable. We are going to continue and also work towards agility and gundog training so that we can join a group session, once my dog and I are ready!

I would thoroughly recommend Emma to anyone with a dog!🐕🐩🐶😉
